MY GOALS, VISION AND CORE VALUES

A head and shoulders photograph of my Great Grandfather around 1910

I offer a warm, friendly, reliable, and professional service working together with my clients, to create and nurture positive relationships

Being respectful to my clients' needs and feelings, providing a service with courtesy, care, empathy, and understanding, and being approachable throughout

A desire for my clients to have complete faith in me knowing that I'll strive to manage and exceed their expectations every time

I take pride in delivering client excellence for every project undertaken, to the best of my ability, through hard work, flexibility, passion, and determination

Carrying out meticulous research and problem solving, where I challenge every obstacle to find the unfindable, ensuring accuracy in everything I do

Being honest about what I can and can't find, and knowing when to stop

Remaining accountable throughout, delivering results to perfection, so clients love the end product that I create, and are left feeling they've got value for money

Engage in continuous development so I keep up to date with the industry and legislation, and am fully aware of new opportunities available to both myself & my clients

As an IT Professional I have spent the last 3 decades in a range of roles from Senior Software Developer, Software Test Manager, Service Desk Manager, and Software Development Manager, attaining various professional qualifications and gaining an excellent appreciation and understanding of clients' needs.

Alongside this, I have over 35 years of experience in researching my own family history, having traced both maternal and paternal lines back to the 1600s. I started out when there were no online records and everything had to be found manually through visiting libraries, local LDS/Mormon churches, archives, local records offices, and the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.

I provide a one-hour free consultation that includes initial discussions to gather as much information as possible including research already carried out and to understand what your requirements are.

Alison Stephens Genealogy doesn't offer a faster or cheaper service.  What I do offer is research of the highest quality, delivered in such a way as to ensure clients are happy with the service they receive, are aware of progress, and feel involved at every stage.  I simply provide a professional, friendly service together with my time and expertise to explore every possibility that enables me to deliver results that are in accordance with, or exceed, the expectation of the wishes of my clients

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and to see if I am able to assist.
